Head of IT

A leading FX Trading company based in Limassol, Cyprus are looking to recruit a ‘Head of IT’.

The salary is paying up to 84k basic, plus a discretionary bonus, dependant on experience.

This is a permanent role.

You must have experience working in a senior IT leadership role, with a track record of successfully implementing technology strategies.

 

Responsibilities

• Oversee the organization's IT governance by establishing policies and executing processes, procedures, and internal IT operations.
• Create and implement IT policies and procedures to safeguard security, uphold compliance, and maintain data integrity.
• Establish and maintain strong cybersecurity measures to safeguard company data and sensitive information, including quality assurance and data protection processes.
• Supervise cloud operations, including provisioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting of cloud infrastructure aiming to achieve optimal performance and resource utilization.
• Implement DevOps best practices to streamline development processes, automate workflows, and enhance collaboration between development and operations teams.

 

Requirements

• Strong technical expertise in areas such as infrastructure management, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing multi-cloud environments, with a strong understanding of cloud architecture and services.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, tools, and methodologies to facilitate efficient and collaborative software development and IT operations.
• Demonstrated expertise in cloud operations, including experience with provisioning, monitoring, and optimizing resources on major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
